I have 6ft of 2×2 3/8wall tubing to do it with.I'm not bagging it I have a 4link with springs for drag racing. My frame is fully boxed now. What I want to do is take about 15in of 2×2 and bolting and welding it on top of the existing frame. Then make 4 plates and tie in the 2×2 at the front and back on both sides. Then notch out the frame (about 5 1/2in)and make an upper bucket there so I can run a taller softer spring at the same ride hight. What do you guys think?
