Truck ran 16.7 @87mph in 2wd with only intake... Shorty headers and jba exhaust... So boost and 4wd made a massive difference... 12.720 @ 106.20mph

    Boosted launches are very common.
Worst that ever happened to the Duramax guys was a boosted launch in 4wd without reinforced tie rods.... /...\

You can see and hear his truck come out of 4wd at 37 seconds. :)

Your car must be back halved. Running low 5's,,,,,, dayummm. That's a second quicker than my bike at stock wheel base,,, but in street trim.

Yes sir, it has a 26" fab 9" housing, 40 spline stuff, and 33x17x15 rubber. Fun car for sure. I saved it many years ago from being crushed in a wrecking yard, and built it into a totally custom drag car. All C Moly cage and rear backhalf section.

I've wanted to to a first generation RX-7 with a stroker sbc since forever but I simply don't have the time or space to build it.

    I'm guessing that your 260 covers the 60' in 1.25-1.35 seconds. The best I have done on my street trim, stock wheelbase, stock motored 08' ZX-14 was a 1.62' 60', 6.18@120 in the 1/8 , and 9.57 @ 151.5 in the 1/4.

Actually, I'll be racing tomorrow for the first time since april.

Ya your right on, on the 60' times. I have a throttle stop to run a few diff. 1/8 index races. At the 6.60 tune up I think its around a 1.3x with a 5.80 index tune its in the 1.28 range. Im not sure what it would run off the stop full out but Im thinking around 5 teens with power as it is currently. I think I can drive the blower a bit harder and run a 4.9x if I ever choose later.

My car before this one was a 125" Fuel Altered that I shoe horned a old 12 valve Cummins diesel in, it had gone a 1.09 60' . Torque! Lol
