Taco 3.4 - Does this k&n will work with my engine?

Hello there i have this k&n intake kit:

But i need to replace the filter... i have this filter:

Can i use the filter i have... is 2 inches shorter than the one that came with my Intake kit...

if it fits and clamps down on the tube. i dont see why not. but it might not take in as much air than the one you originally had.. which means loss of horsepower. ....if you have the one that came with the kit, just clean it with the cleaning kit

 

True, i decided to get the same size of the one i had, and sold the small one.
