Dueler Revos vs. Grabbers AT2

Hey all,

Need help on choosing which tire to go with. Im trying to keep a budget and need a good tire for the Northeast part of the country. I can get both of these for under $140 so thats where my "soft" line is.

I think the Revos is probably a better tire but Im worried about them in the snow. I do 80% on road, 20% off and less than 10k a year. I travel from Philadelphia to Upstate NY so I do see a good amount of winter weather.

Let me know your thoughts... If pick "other", what would you recommend?

I've got the Grabber AT2's and so far I love them. Only 2 months old though so I haven't seen a winter with them yet.

i would go with the revos out of all i have sold never had any one
have a bad thing to say about the snow

 

Check out the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac's, they are considered a all-season tire and have heavy lugs on the outside edges. Price $166/each, no tax, no shipping, discounttiredirect.com.

 

How is the tread life and cornering on those duratrac's. I feel like they probably steer like a 53' rig.

Look nice though.

By the way I will be running 265/75 R16. No immediate plans for lift.

 

I've only had them for the past 500 miles. They do will cornering and wet roads. They have sipes in all the lugs which is supposed to increase your traction on ice and snow. They do make some noise compared to the stock BFG Rugged trails. I'm very happy with them so far. The Duratrac's that I have are 265/75/R16.

 

I would go with the Goodyear Wrangler's, only from past experience. They have good tread life and for me, they performed well in the wet and snow.

 

i like my dueler a/t revo's.......alot! i have offroaded them and never have had any probs with them. im pretty sure they will be pretty damn good in snow as well.

 

I like the revos too! dont have'em but I have ridden in a stock taco wheelin the piss out of them at uwharrie

 

Anyone here running the Duelor Revos up north in the snow? If so, how'd they handle?

I've gotten pretty good feedback from the General Grabber's for wintery conditions.
