I can't be sure, but I'm almost positive that I remember my 13 TRD Off Road edition having the option to turn on the DTRLs, where I could manipulate them independent of all of the other lights...

In my new truck, the Sport edition when I turn my headlight knob to the "DRL" position nothing happens. If I turn it all the way to headlights on, then the daytime running lights come on. Am I missing something here?

Also, if I turn my headlights all the way to the "on" position then the headlights, interior lights, stereo, and everything come on. That's all without a key in the ignition. Is that normal?

Yeah everything is fine. Twist the light stalk one more click towards you, it should be marked "off" and that's how to disable the drl's. Also under the display setup of the lcd you can turn on or off the feature that dims the screeb

Wait your stereo turns on with the keys out of the ignition? That's not right...

Just double checked, my stereo doesn't come on but everything else does, again without the key in the ignition.

Why is the "drl" option even there if it doesn't do anything? Switching to the drl spot doesn't do anything.

When you have it in DRL position, and you start up the truck, they don't come on?

truck has to be running for DRL. Even in the accessory position they won't work. Start it up and check it with the stalk on DRL.

^ this. Try turning it on and off in when pulled up behind someone and you will see the reflection of what is happening. The DRL's run with the DRL setting, the parking light setting, and they turn off when the main lights come on
