    Greetings,

New member here. Just bought a 2013 PreRunner 2WD dual cab short bed over the weekend. I have been researching for about six months and it didn't seem like anything could currently match the quality product for the price. I've owned Chevrolet trucks for the last 15 years, unfortunately the Colorado didn't come close, and the Silverado is more truck than I need.

Going to be using the truck for daily driving, Home Depot - Lowes runs and towing a couple times a month. It is going to be difficult adjusting to use metric tools instead of SAE, but I'll manage. Looking forward to browsing the forums for tips on economy and best modifications.

    Cory

    Welcome! :proposetoast:

Chevy still uses SAE fasteners? I thought the Big 3 switched over to metric more than a decade ago for everything except carryover stuff like wheel stud size.

Haha. Well the last truck was a 1994 and the only metric I can remember were the upper intake manifold bolts being 10MM. Everything else on the truck was 3/8, 7/16, etc... 3/4" lug nuts. So I'll have to get used to 21MM lug nuts. Well not for a few years because of the warranty and free maintenance the dealer threw in the deal.
