    Hey everyone,

I have a 2013 Corolla S and I took apart the HVAC controls to install red LEDs following the DIY guide here http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/326-10th-gen-interior-audio-forum/319869-diy-hvac-led-swap.html. I made sure all the dials were turned all the way to the left before removing them. Swapping out the LEDs went well (Jerez did it for me) and the only reinstall issue I had seemed to be with the notch on the white and black gears, but I lined those up with the little nub under it and everything seemed ok. When I turn the dials with the console unplugged, everything is fluid and smooth.

However, when I went to plug everything back into the car, there was an issue. Specifically with the two white switches that plug into the AC and blower dials. The AC dial fit into the switch just fine, but when when I turn the dial it seems really clunky and like it get stuck. The one that chooses which direction I want the air to blow won't fit back in unless I turn the dial about halfway, but then if I plug it in the switch, it won't go turn back past that point (what I mean is, once it's plugged in that way I won't be able to turn the switch so it directs the air in all the possible directions).

Any ideas how to fix this? Really worried I ruined the panels somehow... Attached is a picture of what the switch I'm talking about that plugs into the console looks like. IMG_0136.jpg

    Thanks guys
