Hello! I've learned recently that 2005 and up Tacomas with the TRD package are having issues with aftermarket wheels rubbing the brake calipers. I learned this when I discovered the weights used to balance one of my tires was in my driveway. I took it in and found that the caliper had been rubbing the inside of the wheel right where the weights were mounted, causing them to "rub" off.

I've had Eagle alloys Series 137 wheels for almost two years, and recently had one of the decorative "bolts" get lost. In checking the others I found several of them we're loose and ready to become a bullet on the freeway, so I removed all of them. Long story short I've decided to get new wheels, and have chosen the MB Razor matte black from Discount Tire. I am just wondering if anyone may have these wheels, have had any issues, and/or has noticed the same rubbing on the calipers issue? I've stayed with the 16" and have BFG all terrain LT265/70R16 tires that do not rub in the well. The suspension is stock. My profile picture is my 2006 with the Eagles.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

PS-new to the forums today so if I have not followed procedures correctly, please let me know.
