when I installed my dual battery system controlled by IBS,

I got an idea to use the same 12v/200A relay to use as a switch controlled winch isolater.

found that Sierra Expeditions sells the unit separately, it would be the cheapest option yes?

Run the + from winch to terminal 30, 87 to + battery, and 85&86 are run to a switch in the cab.

was also looking at a bluesea battery switched isolater that is rated to 500A.

would the winch ever need to draw more than 200A?

Under a full load the winch could theoretically pull over 300A, it's easier to have it always on and just use a SPST switch to disconnect the controller (with in cab controls). I wanted to do the same thing but I scrapped the idea and ran a kill switch for the controls instead.

hmm..guess i'll just order the bluesea then.

I was planning on getting the wireless remote so i'll be skipping in-cab controls and the wiring/switches that goes with it :p
