Hey guys. I've heard a ton of great thing about the Bilstein 5100s. I am curious to know if i get a pair just for the front end, will that be like leveling my truck? or will I need other parts as well like spacers or rear shocks too, etc.?
    I have 4 cyl, 4x4 07 access cab. stock suspension, 265/75/16 tires

    Thanks in advance!

Bilstein 5100's on all four corners. Front set @ 0 with OME 883x coils. Alcon leaf springs. Viper Alarm. Wet Okole seat covers. WeatherTech Floor liners front and back. Oem Toyota chrome exhaust tip. ARE Shell. America Outlaw Wheels.
You can buy just the front. But if you want to feel the true benefit's of the 5100's get all four. That is what I did and just love the ride. As for leveling your truck you need to decide, do you want to just bring the front up to match the rear or lift front and rear together to level. T W has a lot of great info. I searched this site for months before making up my mind and now I couldn't be happier. Hope this helps. ;)

If you want to simply lift the front to level your truck using 5100's you certainly can. Pair them with your stock springs and set the clip on the 5100's at 1.75.

Yes I got the OME 883x coils. I was told that they would ride better then preloading the stock spring and they ride great ! I set my 5100's at 0 and the coil's do the lifting.

Yes you can level the front with just the 5100's. Measure the front and the back and what ever the different is that is what you will need to lift the front. Hope that helps.

Did you do anything else to the rear beside putting on the 5100s?

Nope , just the 5100's . I have the stock 2x1 leafs. For now I love the way it rides and looks.

it increases the angle on your CV joints. You risk premature wear on your components.

lifting alone will as stated, add angle to c/v's, give you less downtravel from static height, and likely give the infamous front diff vibration.

if you want side-affects from using 5100's on stock coils, specifically, all the above apply, and naturally you may encounter a stiffer ride. in my mind, you wont notice any harshness until the coil is stroked PAST where it cycled in stock form. so if you set them at .85", the last .85" of uptravel will be stiffer than before so no big deal. using a taller and stiffer coil would stiffen ride throughout cycle, and a coil spacer is exactly what the 5100 is.

its a good, cheap route to go imo. I lifted almost 2", and have only had the front diff vibe as a side affect. it is a relatively easy albeit expensive fix. no boot-fin touching or any other bads to mention

I finally finished up with the 5100's. I set them to 1.75 and it looks great. Rides pretty smooth and I couldn't be happier.
The only thing is I notice a small vibration at all driving speeds. anyone with level or lift kits notice this too? or should i be concerned?
Thanks for all the help guys!
