TPMS Install. Is this right?

I just received my Countersteers, and i picked up a set of new OEM 20deg TPM stems; installed and noticed about a 3/16" gap.

Is this normal?

yep, your good. Some aftermarket wheels will have the sensors as a 90 degree angle from the wheel! (those are easy to break when mounting a tire on it )

But yes, that is fine, the sensor itself does not need to touch the wheel. Just be sure to torque the nut on the to of the sensor to around 65-70 inch pounds, or just make if fairly tight. (INCH POUNDS)

 

Will do!... I bought the "fitting kit" which came with a washer, rubber seal, and the nut. The sensor itself came with a washer and rubber washer... correct me if I'm wrong, but I only use the one rubber seal on the inside? So I can set aside the rubber seal that came in the fitting kit?

As long as the rubber grommet is in good shape (they are new so yes) don't bother changing it. Yep you got it.
