Anyone know if the fuel pump connector, the one that is part of the harness that plugs into the fuel pump, is available from the dealer new? Mine is broken. I've called 3 different dealers in my area and they are all completely useless.

Thanks for the reply but I'm asking if it's availablke new. I really don't want to fuck around with used connectors anymore. If they fail guess what, it dies.:D in the middle of the road

I'm thinking that the plug is part of the harness, so you'd have to purchase the harness. Maybe that part of the harness (rear of the cab?) can be purchased separately.

You may want to talk directly to a mechanic, rather than a parts guy.

I was just looking thru a PDF of the overall wiring diagram, and it looks to me like there is a harness connector (named BN1) that services all the stuff in the rear, like the pump, fuel sender, tail lights, turn lights, backup lights, stop lights and rear locker. Not sure where it is located, though. If you follow the wires for any of those, maybe you can find it. Hopefully they can sell you just that rear harness.

There might be a unique (different part number) harness for an e-locked truck, unless they just cap it off for non-elocked rigs.

    Interesting problem. Good luck. :)

Thanks for the info! Just got the truck and it died last week. Traced it to the plug and looks like someone pried it off and broke it where it no longer clicks on and intermittenly loses contact.
