    Went to deep..
    got yanked out..
    Dried out...interior, electrical, socks, etc
New batery, Diff fluids checked, and changed, all connections checked, reinstall dry interior, moldings, etc

After truck sits for few hours, i.e. over night this is the result..

    Turn key.....pause...click....crank and she starts.

    All has been attempted.
turn key to on position, wait, turn key.
turn key on, clutch disengage, turn key.
    Baterry is fine..
No fuses need replaced (unless some hidden 1st generation secret fuse stash)

    Starter contacts wore?

Off topic. sale of used or new chilton manuals?

I would think water intrusion into your starter, or into the harness or relay box.

I'm assuming water got in it. I has the same problem but got worse and it didn't work. Had to hit the starter a few times and break it loose. Then got a new one on order. Drive it in the rain for a few hours and it seems to fix it self.

I'd start with some electric contact cleaner..
