I am trying to remove a 2006 Tacoma 4wd transmission so that I can replace clutch. I can separate approximately 3/4 inch with a driven wedge. I am theorizing that transmission shaft is hanging up on throw out bearing. The clutch was engaging and disengaging with no observed issues. I felt that I was on borrowed time. Original clutch with 203,000 miles.
I am on fourth day and would really like to finish this project and move on.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
