2013 Spruce Mica Tacoma Double Cab TRD

So, I pulled my stock, non-JBL touchscreen (model 57053) out and put it up for sale. One guy emails me that he's interested in it, then changes his mind when his research indicates that the wiring harness for his 2012 Tacoma is different than it is for my 2013.

Now, forgive me if I'm out to lunch, but aren't the wiring harnesses pretty much exactly the same? My understanding is that Toyota has kept the identical harness since forever.

Correct me if I'm wrong, please.
