    Gapped that wide, I'd suspect that they were gapped there when installed if the insulators were in good shape.

    Some shadetree guys seem to think that a wide gap is better.
    It is, if you're running a hot ignition system that can fire it.
    If anything, under boost, with a stock ignition, you'd want to run a bit narrower.
