2 bed light switch questions

I saw a post a while back where a really nice door jam switch was used on the tailgate but now I can't find that post again. Anyone know of a part# or source for an OEM looking door switch that will work on the tailgate?

Secondly, I'm interested in putting an on/off/on switch in the cab so I can select if the lights are on, off, or on only when the tailgate is down. I'm thinking I would need to run the ground side of the LEDs to the center of the switch, ground to one side, and the other side to the tailgate switch then to ground. That seems like a lot of wire to do 2 runs between the cab and the back of the bed though so I'm wondering if anyone else has the on/off/on setup and thought of a better arrangement.
