I turned in my company car and I am getting mileage to drive my choice of vehicle! I have already put over 7k on this baby in 6 weeks! My plan is to drive it for 250 to 300k mostly highway miles. I already love this truck more than any other vehicle I've had with the exception on my 1986 CJ-7. I do have the customizing itch though! I just need to keep it subtle and maintain the lifetime warranty status from my dealer!

I love looking at all the beauties on this forum!

Very nice looking truck - except for the front license plate.... ;-) Sounds like you do rack up the miles!

    Thanks! Go Gators!

Yep. I'm sure a lot of people will think it's terrible to destroy a vehicle by putting all those miles on it. I'm just doing it on my Taco instead of the company Impala. I should at least break even on the cost, and I will be a lot happier driving a truck. We had company trucks until the gas prices went up in the mid 2000's.

I think that front tag would look better orange, but otherwise it's a really nice truck. I understand the want to be happy and ride comfortably. When I used to drive a lot, I'd do 1800 miles a week sometimes being really productive and company cars are just that.

I hope your front passenger's seat folds forward flat. If it doesn't you should look into getting one. It makes for a great mobile office. I've used it many times.

    Fold seat forward
    Hop in back seat
    Boot up laptop
    Get on internet
    Join "emergency call"
    Profit!!!

There are many things you can do to your truck. What works best for you? If you can't stream music (saved or internet) via bluetooth, that's something you may enjoy in your travels.

Hopefully you're using Waze also for your navigation, but that has nothing to do with your truck.

The tag is chrome. It looks camo in the photo because of the reflections. I was looking for a black one, but I couldn't find one.

I have used the seat/desk a time or two.

I am pretty familiar with the roads in south AL and north FL so I rarely need GPS, but thanks for the suggestion.

I do love the bluetooth streaming! That's one less cable I need in there. I listen to audible books and podcasts a lot!

Ironically, I drive a 2010 Impala company car with 115K on it... the Taco gets driven evenings and weekends.
