Some of this Some of that
First one is 5100s all around, second is front 5100's and rear 5125's. I've heard 5125's are a little stiffer so if you carry heavy stuff or tow stuff could be a good idea. I'd go for the 5100 set

I thought the 5125s came in different lengths for different amounts of lift in the rear. Shocks don't do anything for carrying a load.

I thought the leaf springs handled the load and the shocks kinda made it stable

Shocks dampen the ride so your springs don't violently rebound after compressing.

Literally no difference between 5100s or 5125s. 5125s just come in a lot more varying lengths.

So would you recommend me getting 5125 in a longer lenght? Because I remember you didn't like you 8in travel ones right?

Nothing wrong with my 8" ones haha just that I was almost maxing them out with near 5" lift haha

Shock length has to do with lift height.

Generally though 8" rear shocks are good for up to 3-3.5" lift and 10" shocks for 4-5".

Best way to find out is to of course measure after you lift the truck.

I was also wondering this, thanks for the info. These are the shocks I was looking at http://www.h2rfoxshox.ca/shocks/offroad/2-0-emulsion, but I was looking at 10" (16.65-26.65) travel but I should probably go with 8.5" (14.85-23.35) on a 3" lift?

    Can't say for certain.

5125s come in 9'' travel too. I really can't tell you till you lift it and you have measured.

10'' though will be too long probably. So you would need 4.5'' bumps for certain
