See what I want will have no storage capabilitys and I want it to reach only up to my before my sun roof just a little extra add on for blinding lights .... Idk if that's something ill just have to have my brother add on for me.... I was also thinking about having him design and weld a swinging tire and jerrycan gate onto which ever rear bumper I buy

Finally blew the motor at 230,000, sprung for a Jasper with 100,000/3 year warranty. The birdpig has a new set of wings! OME heavy load lift kit, Dakar leafs w/AAL, frame mounted energy suspension 4.5" bumpstops, 882 coils, nitrocharger sport shocks, trail gear sliders, addicted offroad front bumper, KC 130w daylighters, Warn M8000, 31" BFG KM2's, custom dents and Nevada pinstripes.
Check out the thread I started a few days ago. "on my 3rd set of leafs in a year, finally got it right"

General Spring makes a heavy duty set and I think they can cover the early model Tacoma's short springs. Check with them. I purchased a set of standard duty springs for my 03 (to replace a set with a broken leaf) and they were a great company to deal with.

Hi i'm new here but have a 96 extra cab. I too had a broken leaf on driver side.

I recently lifted it with the ome Dakar springs CSO19R and the 881 coil up front on nitro shocks. Bolted right in, no pads to relocate. I had to use a 4 degree shim on the axle and 1/2" drop on the center bearing to get the driveline silky smooth in my case.

I also had to remove the very bottom leaf, it's a 6 leaf pack to start, to get the rear to settle down and look good with the front. The front with the 881 coils only came up about 2 inches from stock ( I assume, after 213,000 miles I'm sure it was far from stock height).

Net lift from the old coil springs to the new was about 3.5 inches, but again, the stock coils were really flat. My cv's had an upward slant at the wheel. I assume true lift is around 2 inches from what was supposed to be stock height.

It rode quite stiff with all 6 rear leafs, removing the bottom overload helped and I still have a rather impressive arc, not worried about hauling camping gear or a load of wood at all.

Ahhh idk... I gotta coworker that's on here to and he offered me a nice leer snug top canopy for 100-150 bucks... Ill probably be just getting a decent cheap set for right now to solve the broken leaf problem cause I'm gonna have to taco supreme my truck... It's a must do... And I figured out today that all pro is out of hemet California... I lived there for 6 months (years back) and had no idea
