I always wondered if the hitchsafe was weather proof, is it sealed?, if so, would it resist watercrossings?

    How much does it cost?

It is watertight. It comes with all kinds of foam seals. I put the stock Toyota OEM rubber hitch cover onto the back of the receiver (facing the spare tire) to keep water and dirt from coming in the front of the reveiver. I have had mine on for two years now without one drop or any moisture getting into it. It is a well made product. I think you can find them for $60 if you hunt around on the internet.....if you look on the Hitch Safe site under accessories, you will see the foam seals that come with it. I do not think it woud keep water out in a water crossing.....if submerged......

Any way to get a Toyota emblem on it? If it were mine, I'd try to get it to look as close to stock as possible. It looks like a solid product, but the less attention I could draw to it the better.

I have not found a Toy emblem yet (lapel pin, badge, etc.) that would fit it nicely. Either too big or too small.
