    Good morning!

I am a proud new owner of a TRD Sport Double Cab Long Bed 2013 Magnetic Grey. I traded out my 05 Xterra on 35's for this...so I have plenty of off-road and modding experience. Before I pull the trigger on a lift, I wanted to get some thoughts.....I've read through many of these forums.

I will be towing a utility trailer with my golf cart on it often...total weight is around 3000 pounds.

I am looking at getting the Bilstein 5100 shocks with the Eibach coils, and either a block or AAL in the rear. Instead of going with a Dakar replacement for the time being, because I will not be going offroad with this too much. I just want to be able to preform down the muddy roads with my trailer hooked up.

Will I need to extend my brake lines with this small lift? How many of y'all disconnect the swaybars as opposed to just relocating them. Is the diff drop necessary for the 3" lift?

    I appreciate all help.

    -Tex

AAL is the better option. You will most likely bottom out the suspension over bumps though when towing that trailer. I did not need extended brake lines when I ran the 3 inch block on the rears. I did add them when I finally added the Dakars though. Swaybar is off the truck and never needed to use the diff drop. Just one man's experience... hope it helps a bit.

I'd go with the AAL in the back it will preform better and not mess with your suspension like a block does. As for brake lines, I lifted my truck 3in and did not replace them, drove for about 4k miles now and still have working brakes. I got the sway bar relocate instead of just removing it, sadly my truck sees more pavement than dirt thus making that a fairly easy decision for me.

Edit: Also didnt do the diff drop, heard it has no effect on second gens and my cv angle wasn't half bad
