How hard is it to remove the bed of a 05 Tacoma?
    I have the access cab
Just need to remove bed so I can pull my side fenders

I think you just need to unhook all the electronics and undo a couple bolts and your good to go. It's super light too so it's only a 2 person job.

Quick question for they guys that have done it: how do you take off the bedside quarterpanels? Is there any drilling of metal required?

Yea I'm taking the bedsides off and you got to pull bed so you can get
The bolts in the very back
But yes I guess I have that same question
I'm assuming just pull bed and unbolt the bedsides

I've done it today, not too hard! Remove all bolts, don't forget to remove Torx bolts (side bed rail) remove top plastic cover on top of bedsides (plastic clips) You just have to drill rivets that hold the gas filler neck.

So if it's on the passenger side, no drilling is required?

Compared to a usual truck bed made of metal they are.
