I have a base taco with 14s and want to know what their weight is before I go wheel shopping. I'm looking at some forged 15s and if the weight savings is enough I may go for it.

Are you sure you have 14" wheels? I think that the smallest wheels for 2007 are 15-inchers, even on a 2WD base model.

x2, if you have a 2nd Gen, the smallest wheel size from the factory is 15".

Crap, I F'd up, they are 15. I was thinking about another tire/wheel combo at the same time I wrote this. Anyone know their weight?

No answers? You can get a pretty accurate number by looking up the tire weight on the manufacturer's website or tirerack.com, then weigh the wheel/tire combo on a bathroom scale and subtract the tire weight. Consider that tread wear reduces the tire weight by a bit. You will probably get a more accurate number from the bathroom scale by weighing yourself along with the wheel and tire, then subtracting your body weight.

Thank you. I thought about that, just figured someone probably knew the exact weight. Probably woulda helped if I hadn't F'd up the title. If I can't get the tire weight I'll try again with a corrected title.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I don't think any manufacturer sells a car with 14 inch wheels anymore. I know it's getting hard to find 14 inch car tires and damn near impossible to find 13 inch wheels and tires for a car. Although you can still get trailer tires in those sizes.

He messed up his title. He meant 15"

I see the stock 5-lug steel wheels on Amazon with a shipping weight of 29 pounds.

Thanks, unfortunately also on Amazon I found one with a 42# shipping weight. I'm sure it can't be 42, but I can't trust the 29 either. I'm going to start a new thread with the right title and hope.
