Suggestions for CB radios

There is not much to tune on those 75's. Tune the antenna? Yes.

 

That's what i meant. There are no real settings on them besides volume, squelch, and channel

 

do not buy cb antennas from walmart worst coax and antenna out there youll get 1 mile recieve

 

Don't think I would ever buy something like that from Wal-Mart, but I will surely keep that in mind.

 

How do you like it? I like the idea of being able to have batteries for it, but I'm still kinda iffy bout it...

 

I'm pretty sure this is the one I will buy. Small, portable, easy to stow away.

 

I chose it because it is compact, it can be easily transferred to another vehicle, it doesn't require any installation, and it can still connect to an external antenna. The bonus features include the battery pack and the handheld antenna. For a CB radio it is perfect. The downside is it doesn't have audio out for an external speaker. Which, I don't think is a big deal. For one it is pretty loud when turned all the way up and secondly it is small enough that you can put it close to you and still hear it. Hope that helps.
