Hello, I drove four hours with my brother to buy a Tacoma from a dealer who had it listed and with decals as a TRD Off road truck. Some things we're missing realizing it was a base truck. Could not strike a deal and walked. On the trip home we stumbled onto a 1990 Tacoma Access cab SR5 with 290K and looked very well cared for. Noticed some oil leaks but the truck ran great. Not meant to replace my daily driver but to be something to work on with my boys and to have a truck, a cool one at that! Get tons of looks and questions when I drive it.
Replaced the rear leafs and looking for shocks and maybe a 1" riser block to bring the back up to the fronts height. Looks like my oil leaks are a rear main and the valve covers. Thinking of upgrading the clutch to a center force unit while I'm at it.
The best part about the truck, both sons have asked if it will be theirs.

Thanks, was not aware of adjustable front shocks! Already purchased the riser blocks. During the test drive all my brother could say was if you don't buy it I am. Sent my wife a text that we had bought the truck in back to the future and she lauhed at us. The original owner has all the work orders and kept notes on repairs. Defiantly a rare find.
