Brake lights

My brake lights are always on. I can remove fuse #4 under head or remove stoplight switch and they go out. Bought a new switch thinking that was problem, but it was not. Any idea what I need to be looking for? Problem initially presented when I was sporadically not able to get out of park. Thanks

 

This happens whether or not keys are on. Looking at the schematic below, would that mean bad relay?

Have you done any wiring, or added anything to the truck?

Does it look like I'm missing the relay entirely? Shouldn't it go in upper right corner?

 

Nope I haven't done any wiring. Just bought truck about a month ago. Had in shop for a bad wheel bearing a couple weeks ago, but that's it.

 

Figured it out. I thought depressing plunger on brake switch activated lights. Depressing plunger is what kills lights.
