I tired to search but wasn't able to find an answer. Would a avid light bar for 2012+ Tacoma work on a 2009 Tacoma? I've read that the 05-11 work on the 2012+ trucks but not sure if it works the other way around.

I believe so. The crash can on the bumper are in the same spot. Could be wrong tho.

I don't think so. There is a minor difference in the front bumper geometry so the light bar is shaped differently.

I put an Avid bar on my 2010 and just put one on my 2013. Best way to find out is shoot Brandon an email.

Yea they redesigned the Avid bar to fit the 2012+ models when they came out.
