    I have a 2012 Tacoma 4x4 and I put a Fat Bobs garage 3" lift on it.
It contains a strut mounts and a add a leaf in the rear.

I am not happy with the ride and front just seems rough. Would replacing the stock struts to the 5100s make a huge difference?

    Any suggestions?

Its the spacers not the shocks that are giving you the crapy ride.

Maybe look into a coil / 5100 shock combo and ditch the spacers.

A lot of peeps having success with OME coils and bilstiens at the first notch. The Eibachs are another coil option to get lift, but I hear they ride a bit more ruff.

Didn't really think about the kit making the ride better. Just have a little extra money right now to do something about it.

If this is the kit you are at least not using a coil compressor spacer, which is even worse. I’ve seen kits that incorporate the use of both top plate spacers and coil ones.

With this kit the ride sucks because you essentially took quite a bit from your down travel to push the truck up. The problem with this is when you hit dips or holes your suspension has very little droop from its neutral position and more so falls until the wheels plated.
