My father and I had identical year Nissans - his was singlestage black, mine was clearcoated metallic blue. Both factory finishes. I garaged mine save while at work, he leaves his outside 24/7.

Mine oxidized and bubbled after about 14 years. His still looks great.

I went with the Super White. That Magnetic Gray is a fantastic color, but I'm in this truck for the long haul, and I just don't think that color is going to hold up.

I live in Charlotte nc too and I just bought a 2011 super white trd sport. From the carfax report it pretty much stayed in the Carolinas or atleast the same climate and the paint is in awesome shape. No problems, chips, or bare metal showing... I did wash real well after buying and ran a clay bar over it and waxed it. I'm one of those guys that wash my truck once every two weeks plus I keep it garaged. It stays clean looking all the time but the bugs do show up a lot more. Takes less than 10 min to wash front of truck though so no big deal to me. Metallic gray was my first choice but found a deal I couldn't pass up on the super white and I'm happy with my decision. Plus I do love the stormtrooper look too.
