So I was installing a 2" lift on my 2014 DCSB yesterday, and my buddy points out the crazy level of orange peel in the paint along the rockers. It smooths considerably as you move up to the doors, but is that normal? It almost looks like a glossy spray-in bedliner effect. Anyone else see this?

It's normal. It's there for protection if I remember correctly. My 2011 has it.

I figured. My buddy is a car guy through and through, so it blew his fragile little mind.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
It's the road-trash jimmy hat for your paint job.
