I don't like my XD Monsters. I've been looking for something else I like...going with new wheels once its time for new tires. I do like the SCS wheels.

Maybe I'm a little biased, but I have to vote for the FN Wheels BFDs of course. :)

gfaria1 - I read a couple of your posts that you are concerned about looking like a Civic based on one of your friends or co-workers said.

I think we can all agree that none of the trucks with the FN Wheels BFDs look anything like a Honda Civic, or should I say I've never seen a Civic that looks anything like these for example:

Or a Civic or any wheel for a Civic that can withstand this:

The way I see it, there are a couple main differences between the FN Wheels BFDs and the other wheels you are considering:

    -Style
The FN Wheels BFDs are a much more simple, understated style vs. the KMC XD wheels. When I see a truck with FN BFDs my eyes follow the lines of the truck and the wheels flow into that design. When I see a truck with KMC XDs my eyes immediately focus on the wheels and their wild, busy designs. This is not an insult to the designs of the KMC XDs, but it's just the main difference as I see it.

    -Performance
The FN Wheels BFDs will weigh anywhere from approximately 25% to 35% less than any of the KMC XD wheels while maintaining the same load rating of at least 955KG. Both brands of wheels will be plenty strong for a Tacoma, but the BFD will be able to offer a better strength to weight ratio, which will improve acceleration, fuel consumption, handling, and suspension wear and tear.

    -Final Thoughts
With that said the most important thing is that you get the wheel that will make you happy. It is your truck and your hard earned dollars that will be paying for the wheels. You are also the one who has to look at the truck every day. I believe that the reason for changing wheels should be to increase your enjoyment of your truck, be it aesthetically through something that improves your visual appreciate of your truck, physically through improved performance that you can feel, or, in the best case scenario, both.

By the way - thank all of you guys that recommended me based on customer service and customer satisfaction too. It really means a lot. As many of you know, my phone is always on (office or cell), I try to check the forums and e-mails constantly to answer questions to the best of my ability, and I am here to support TacomaWorld members and our customers in any way that I can.

This is sort of an intangible that comes with every set of the FN Wheels. :)
