I got a Ribbon Blue double cab Off Road about $2500 under window sticker price. I was hoping Toyota would resign the engine for better gas mileage, but my old truck was wearing out. So I bit the bullet, I like it alot so far.

    What I like
    looks
4 doors (kids can get in and out)
Etune Radio, hands free phone, Bluetooth steams my iPhone songs
Ride firm and sticks on the road well
Brakes ( the sport I test drove the brakes felt spongy, these feel very tight, is there a difference?)
    4x4, a-trac, electronic locker
Automatic, so wife will drive it now
Chrome tube steps (I guess this means I'm old)

What I need to adjust to
The vision is much poorer than the T100 as far as the height
Gas mileage (1 tank only, I babied it, but about 17 MPG)
You have to push the pedal hard to make it go
    Automatic
No outside temperature gauge or garage door opener  (was in brochure, but not on window sticker)
a little bit lower right now than the 4x4 T100

Sorry, it rained cats and dogs the day I picked it up from Toyota of Ft. Worth, so its a bit dirty and haven't taken the best photo yet. The blue is slightly lighter in person than the pics.

Call or email Meghan Drake, she will work out everything via email with no hassle price. She is the internet manager there. She told me they are going to be under new ownership and will discontinue this way of doing business in about 1 month.

I live about 1 hour from there, the two dealerships right by me wouldn't even respond to an email for a quote. One other dealership gave me a quote about $1000 higher. She traded for this one from a dealership in San Antonio. I was insistant upon blue. I like green and blue the best. My last truck 97 was green so decided upon blue for this one.

One more thing, she gave me $500 more than Carmax for the T100 pictured. I made the figures with or without the trade in. I fully expected to sell to Carmax. The old truck had some issues. I didn't really want to sell it to someone unless they like to work on cars. It needed clutch bracket (Springs wore out) and firewall reinforced, timing belt, new tires, air conditioner, tune up, etc.

No buttons on the rear view mirror at all. Its just a plain old mirror. You can move it up pretty high though almost out of my vision maybe 2 inches or less from the top. However, the etune radio has some sort of GPS and can give you the current temperature outside I just figured out.

on the T100, when the clutch bracket broke many moons ago it also broke the firewall. It was under warranty and they fixed it with the new bracket and firewall embraced. After the last 2 master clutch cylinders you can see that it is bent up down their again and needs some pounding around to be straightened. I drive in alot of heavy traffic and basically wore out all the spring on the bracket problem let to some bending as well. Its possible maybe to have fixed the spring only on the clutch bracket, but looks easier to replace the whole bracket.

T100 was solid though it still has the original back brakes and original clutch. I really wanted an automatic to get the wife off my back and 4 doors for the kids to climb in and out of. The new Tundra is a giant compared to the T100. The T100 and the double cab tacoma are almost the same size in the garage.

Apparently the 2014's don't come with the upgraded mirrors even though the 2012 and 2013's did.

Beautiful truck! I've been going back and forth between "blue" and Spruce Mica for when I pick up my '14 next year. I've been leaning (heavily) towards Spruce, but seeing your truck makes the decision MUCH harder.

I prefer green and blue cars. I was going to get Spruce Mica but decided on a the blue color this time since T100 was green. Plus there will be very few rigs this color and configuration.

Great looking truck! Mines is almost just like it, with the exception of being a long bed. I was fairly insistent on blue as well!
