Winch line theft?

    Anyone have their winch line stolen? Seems like it would be easy for someone to release the clutch, then just pull your line out?

    I guess it would depend on where you live. Like me, I wouldn't ever worry about it. Because I could (if I heard them) just go outside with my glock .40 and problem solved.

    Good thought. If they can get my winch to free spool- the line is theirs! I can't get the lever to turn for the life of me.

    But really-yes very easy to steal.
