Alright guys, my first gen (02 extra cab v6) has been running VERY poorly. Cylinders misifiring, horrible idling very rough. I ran the OBD scanner on it which pulled a p1135 error code. Which is air/fuel sensor. I did a little research, and symptoms for a bad o2 sensor match the misifiring cylinders, rough idling, lack of horsepower, etc. Does anyone have any input on this? ANy experience? I just bought a new o2 sensor, an upstream because the code pulled bank 1 sensor 1, which is upstream. I am gonna go home tonight and try to fix it, but does anyone else have any ideas in case this doesnt work? Also i replaced the ignition coils, plugs, wires. also I dont believe it to be a head gasket because i did check the oil and found no water in it, or any milkyness to it. and the exhaust isnt white or anything weird. Any help appreciated!

Sounds like you are on the right track. Replace that sensor, unplug the battery while doing that and let's go from there.

Hey Tyler any luck with this? How's it run after changing the sensor?
