there is a difference between TRAC , ALSD and VSC by the way.

There is no way the system would not allow you to spin the wheels if you deactivate it.

    he needs to add to:

"-2wd, 1 push of VSC button. TRAC off, AUTO-LSD on, VSC on. Similar to above, but more traction, truck starts to fishtail easier, VSC cuts in to keep you in control."

this is only correct above a certain speed (I think 15mph), below that, there is no VSC, no TRAC, only Auto LSD

I found when I have the ALSD, and VSC on, it still allows me to kick out the ass end from a dead stop for a tight U-turn. However, if I try to drift a corner, (around 20mph), the VSC ends it in a hurry.

My truck says I have A-TRAC on the window sticker, but no button on the dash, so I will report back as soon as I put it to the test. I'll be interested to see if Toyota has integrated it into 4L.

from what i can tell everything is shut off in 4lo, it's not even switchable in 4lo. as you put it in 4lo everything shuts off, ALSD goes on. at least thats how it works in my truck

yep, in 4LO it leaves the alsd, and it works VERY well.

I have yet to find a spot where I could not climb or go through and locked trucks could. I know it will happen someday, but it's working surprisingly well.

Look under the AC controls. Should be a small switch under there. It will say ATRAC on it.

I wish my 4runner had stuff like that to turn off everything. But I get stuck just taking out the TRAC fuse and eveything is off. Works awsome when offroading.
