    Nuts! What a pita.
Good point on cleaning the faux-beadlocks. It drives me nuts when crap drips out of the cracks post-wash. There is enough of that already

When it does it can be a gong show. The city is not prepared to deal with it.

Hey guys thanks for the replies. Yes it does snow in Vancouver, occasionally, but east of the city, and up to the ski hills definitely. Also, I head to the Interior lots and the mountain passes are brutal in winter.

I definitely like the FJ wheels, but thought snow tires would be cheaper for 16" vs 17". They are the priciest of the bunch. The TRD in bronze would be an easier choice if they were black.

Will let ya know what I end up getting.

Less that the city is unprepared and more that the drivers are unprepared

Don't forget these, they are easy to get and usually cheap. They look good on tacos.

very true, but Van can go several winters in a row without seeing significant snowfall so when they do the number of inexperienced drivers is significant.
These are exactly what I will be putting my new Blizzaks on next month. They have been patiently awaiting winter.

I ended up going with the bronze TRD wheels with BFG snows. Found them on CL, sold as a set. They were a great deal, barely used, and should look pretty sweet when mounted.

    After picking them up:
