Some lift, some armor, some scratches..
my truck tends to run on the cooler side, between 176 and 192, even on a hot summer day it usually wont go over 200..

Today I just did some interval fluid maintenance: oil & filter change, and a drain-n-fill on both front and rear diffs and the TC. The diff oil was kinda dark but the TC was pristine.. Used Lucas 75w 90.

Doing rotors and pads on Wednesday - anyone got a solid one man brake bleeding method?!?!

My ultra gauge shows an average temp of 204-206. I've seen it hit 208 a handful of times and 210 once or twice. Doesn't seem to matter if it's 80 degrees out or 0. It shows cooler in the winter because I have my heater blowing obviously. But the needle on my dash has never moved. I haven't been too concerned about it.

It's good to know that another person is running the same temp mine is. Everything is the same and the truck runs good but just wanted to make sure that I'm not the only one running in the 203-210 degree range.

Have you rotated your thermostat, jiggle valve mod. Mine was was running 203 and now it's 10-13 degrees cooler.

No I haven't, I didn't know that was a mod. First I'm hearing of this. I did have the thermostat replaced about 5k miles ago along with T- belt, water pump, pulleys and all. What exactly is the jiggle valve mod? Turn the thermostat around?

My truck has never been above 200 according to my ultra gauge. The highest I've ever seen was 192 when sitting in traffic in the summer.

Today I pulled the instrument cluster out and lubed the squealing cable and the speedo gears for good measure. Won't know if it worked until it gets cold out.

Took it for a drive and decided to disconnect the swaybar, (it had recently been removed so this was actually a easy task) tied it up out of the way and wow, rode much better. Cornering at highway speeds was a bit different, I might get used to it. I understand heavier rate coils make a difference, might try something different along those lines.

I've searched a lot of threads here and found some very helpful information along the way. Thanks to all who have contributed. :)

I'm usually between 185 and 205. That's the lowest and highest on my UG

Yeah. What I found interesting is I'll be doing 70 on flat highway and it will read 208. Then I go up a really steep incline doing 70 the whole way at like 3500 RPMs to keep my speed up and it goes down to 190. Seems backwards or the thermostat doesn't open till 210 or something.
