Hi I have a 2012 Tacoma TRD Sport DBL cab, I don't really do much off road driving but I would like a beefier look. I was thinking a 3" so I would be able to run 33" tires likely BFG TA's, I have a travel trailer(5000lbs) that I haul from time to time if that matters. Looking for any suggestions was leaning towards the 3" Pro Comp but after reading some info on here I think NOT. I would like to retain the factory ride quality as this is a daily driver for me and my wife.

Thanks again any input will be appreciated.

Front: Bilstein 5100's and Eibachs or OME shocks and springs.
    Rear: Toytec AAL

Costs about $500 and rides like factory

He wants 3" if i read correctly.... A 2nd gen will only see 1.5 to 2" from eibachs.

He could bump the billies up a little but it will make the ride stiffer.

Op, at 3" ur also looking at new upper control arms.

As for the rear, if u wanna retain a decent ride, try to find a progressive add a leaf made up of multiple thin leaves instead of a single thicker aal. Blocks are said to cause premature leafpack deterioration... Especially when the truck is used to haul things (ur trailer).
Blocks are also said to increase axle wrap, while add a leafs (aal) help resist axle wrap.

Eibach coils are linear, but also a higher spring rate than stock at 620lbs versus 550 or so.

If ur set on 3" and don't want a dedicated adjustable coilover like icon or the like, I think u would be better off with the OME (old man emu) setup.

I'd talk with Sonny or Micah at downsouth motorsports.

I think the OME coils are good if you're going to add an aftermarket bumper. I went with the Eibach's and am curious to see how they support an aftermarket bumper. I've heard it'll be fine, but I know the heavy OME's are good. I want the same bumper as you, too. Relentless and Elite are badass! So much $$$ though!
