    You guys both have annexes that go out around the ladder right? I have the mt bachelor so I imagine the heat transfer wouldn't be as good as mt Shasta or similar

    anyone have the link handy of all the little mods people have done with the RTT's? I remember looking at it but forgot to save it. Looking to add LED's inside.

    Yea for my power I have a long cord that I drop down through the center gap and plug in to a 12v anytime outlet in the truck and close the door. It powers a little box with 2 12v outlets and 2 USB outlets. Then my led strip on the center hoop has an inline switch.

    I've been playing with the idea of using weather pack connectors and run a power wire up to the roof, then when I remove the tent I unplug the connector. Seems unnecessary when its so easy to drop a power wire into the truck when I set up the tent. Also I'd still want to disconnect the power when the tent is closed up just to be safe.

    So you hang this in the annex or is there something to set it on in the annex? I've been trying to figure out a way for the GF to be more accepting of me buying/using a RTT :rolleyes:

    My wife used my -40 degree bag every camping trip until we got the RTT, so I knew heat was paramount. The mr buddy sits on the floor of the annex and feeds the whole tent. I keep the propane in the bed of the truck with a giant quickfist clamp

    And keep in mind i have the mckinley and never turned it on High. On board shower is coming soon for me as well. Billy at bruteforce worked out a killer system that uses the AC temp adjuster to control water temp.
