I had a '95 Tacoma and lifts were limited. I did a 3" Downey coil over but wanted more. I ended up doing a 3" body and you couldn't really tell. Raised bumpers, welded my smitty's higher and added some lift lips. I actually liked those because not only were they longer but a much thicker rubber that didn't rip out when you wanted to remove clips. That hid the bed to frame gap. Ultimately combined a 4" pro comp with it all when they came out. Knocking the pin out of the steering shaft and having to cut some of the metal trim around the shifter were the biggest issues but never had performance issues and its still running strong. My niece bought it from me and it has over 200k.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
    I for one have.

I hate large body lifts. Theres nothing wrong with a small 1 inch body lift. They help clearance and in many cases are better thsn adding another inch of suspension lift with center of gravity and geometry etc etc.. and a 1 inch body lift makes it easier to dr op the tranny and change a starter etc.. not the a new tacoma is very prone to that stuff lol

I have a 1'' body lift, there wasn't much difference from stock ride. The brake lines, steering shaft all have room to play. The kit comes with a gas line bracket and rad relocate.

You could goto 1.5" before you would need steering shaft extensions ect.
