I have a 2012 tacoma with OME suspension. I've been told to get the spidertraxx 1.25 spacers with the 285/75/16 duratracs? Are these a must? I'm at discount right now and they are telling me I don't need them and jut need to lose the mudflaps. Is this correct? What exactly are the spacers saving me from?

When wheels do you have? It says you have a TX PRO, if you have the tx pro wheels (which I think are 4.5" BS) you don't need spacers.

Yes I have the TX pro wheels. Not sure exactly what the offset is.

They're roughly 4.6" bs, but there shouldn't be any issues running 285s on there. The mud flaps will probably have to go and some minor liner trimming and you're good to go.
