Painted FJ wheels

Finally got my painted FJ wheels installed. I think they look pretty good for a hack like me. The only thing left to do is the lift. Then I'm done...before I go completely broke.

 

I think they came out looking great! I like the way you have them taped off for the 2 tone.

 

Thanks man. All the sanding and painting and taping and more painting and clearing was VERY time consuming, but I didn't want the typical flat black wheels so I'm pretty happy with the results.

Is that gunmetal or black? I can't tell. I am guessing you trimmed those centercaps to fit?

 

Thanks. It's Duplicolor graphite wheel paint, gloss black engine paint and engine clear coat. And I think I used self etching primer if I remember right. The center caps are the stock FJ center caps that came with the wheels. I just removed the Toyota emblems, sanded and painted with Krylon Fusion gloss black and then added the TRD decals.
