4wd actuator problem

96 lx 3.4L 4wd

My front axle won't lock in on its own. I have to switch out the two vacuum lines under the hood. Does anyone know where the switch that switches the power from one actuator to the other is? I think its also the same switch that turns the 4x4 light on. Thanks
