235/85/16 vs 265/75/16 but not E Range

I'm looking at tires and need to pull the trigger soon. Problem is Load Range. I don't want to kill my mpg with E range tires. I've been looking at Wrangler Duratrac and General Grabber AT2, but also considering Firestone Destinations AT. I have two good local shops, but neither one carries Firestone.

I want 235/85/16, but I can't find anything that's not E rated. Is there any? Should I just go with 265/75/16 and which ones? The Grabbers are E, the Duratrac have an E and a C.

I've mulled this decision too long. Somebody help.

 

I think BFG makes an D-rated, All-terrain tire.

 

I'm buying a new doublecab this winter. I've decided on the duratracs. Either the 235/85r16 (E load range) or the 265/75 r16 (C load range).

I chose the AT duratracs instead of a MT because the truck will be my daily driver.

I prefer a skinny tire (so the 235's) because of snow and ice performance, but I am worried that the 235/85's might hurt my gas mileage because of weight.

I've always driven C-range 31x10.5r15's on my '01 taco, so I have no experience with the E-range tires.

Can anyone tell me about the respective weights? (Goodyear's website lists everything BUT weights.)

Additionally--those of you running E-range tires--does it make for a bumpier ride???
