Spent the last week off road. Dusty with a hint of mud on all types of trails narrow n rocky to wide with loose mud/dirt. Had to field test my new guard dogs 255/75r17 great tire so far.

Morale of the story got home washed my truck and my passenger side is nothing but huge white scratches. Fml Any one else has this happen in their expeditions?

It's called natures pinstriping.... Embrace it if you can.

Have found white shows it less than most colors and most of my vehicles have been white over the years. But my new Taco is red so this hunting season I am staying off a few of the trails where I normally run over moose chit and you can hardly see the 2 track to start with. It is the dense young growth of Aspen, etc. that does it the worst. Next year all bets are off, time to get some of Mother Natures Pinstriping.

Forest wheeling= pin striping. Best way to prevent it is to 3M the entire vehicle.

+1^ I own a porter cable and with the right products miracles are possible unless it's through the clear coat.

There's only just so many times you can buff before you go through the clear. Pretty much every truck I owned until I was in my late 20's was either constantly covered in mud or clean and covered in scratches. Now I'm a lot more careful on the rare occasions when I go off road.
