So I tested my 4wd in High today on my '04 tacoma and something is wrong. It's losing tractions and skidding in both the back tires. That might be from the light weight bed though so thats not the biggest problem. The right tire really screeches and it really slows you down. It didn't do this in 2 wheel high. Could it possibly be the rear dif. needing to be serviced? Or maybe could it be the bearings need to be regreased on the back right wheel? And last but not least could it be transfer case oil?

If you are trying to make turns in 4wd on dry pavement, that will happen. You are binding up.

I suggest reading the owners manual before using 4wd again...
