I did mine, and then had it a couple of weeks and some dude rear ended me. Not a single mark on the derp.. but I pulled it off before having the Ins people do the adjustment. Didn't want them calculating the price based on a painted bumper.

Looks great. I did my rims (minus hub covers) a few weeks ago. I applied a thick coat of Armour All to the rubber, no masking needed. I drove about 10 mi after it dried, and it peeled off the rubber. I wonder if the same method would work on the plastic parts of the bumper?

I would suggest using 50/50 rubbing alcohol or DYC Pre Dip Spray.

Black on black for emblems.. Nice. I've been thinking about doing a debadge, but might just plasti-dip instead.

How do you put them back on? Specific product I need?

Mix rubbing alcohol with water 50/50. Or(not with) use Dipyourcar.com Pre Dip Spray to prep the area before you start dipping it.

I left mine on. Only trick is using a toothpick to pick out the inside of the letters. Had an exacto knife handy in case the edges started to peel when removing the excess. IMO, much easier than removing and replacing after derping.

3M double sided tape is what I used. Though I don't see the point if your going to Plato-dip. There's some good write ups if you do a search.
