New here quick fog question

I've read through a bunch of posts on here and still haven't seen what I'm lookin for.

I bought the fog light kit with the oem look alike switch on eBay. My 08 isn't wired for for lights at all. Base model
I grounded the wiring harness. Connected the red to the battery and connected the yellow wire to the yellow wire on the harness for the switch. The lights are always on now. I've wired lights up before and idk if I've been workin on the truck too long today or what but I'm brain dead lol. Any help would be appreciated
