OK so I have been spending a lot of time on here looking at all y'alls awesome builds and if it was up to me I would need 10 Tacos to meet all the needs and wants I have.

I am itching to start building my Taco as funds allow. My goal is to have a camping truck that I can take on the beach and fish, I can take it to the woods and hunt and I can take the kids to school all while keeping a reasonable MPG and everyday functionality.

So how do you do that?

Ask your self what you will use it the most for on and off the road.

For me it is a daily driver M-F and a hunting fishing camping rig on the weekends. So my build will be a bed rack for a CVT, a slight billy or OME lift with some 265/75R16 on stock wheels and a few extra lights. I would love to armor it up but realistically I don't need it so unless more money starts finding its way into my back account mine wont get armor. There are tons of cheap/free easy mods with lights and center console organizer stuff that will be done to make it unique or more functional.

Now of course I haven't started my build and based off of 99.99999% of people on here once you stop you're screwed so we will see.

this. while its my DD i plan on a soft topper for ease of taking off when needed and a bedrack that goes over the topper so i can get a RTT and also mount extra stuff on the rack. i have a 3" lift from billy 5100's and OME coil with AAL but i plan on going full icon with dakars. as for armor i suggest you look at hybrid because it weighs less than the plate bumper while still offering some protection

The same shit everyone else has.
Agreed as well. Mines my daily.

Im trying to keep it reliable and pretty tame. The most off road it sees is logging/camp/game commission roads during hunting/fishing season.

its has 265s ATs, 5100s, a mild rear add a leaf, all which are perfect for what I need.
